<p>A room divider assembly comprises at least one stud assembly and at least one pair of dividing panels 20. The stud assembly comprises a pair of elongate elements 1, each element having a front face 2 and two side limbs (3a, 3b, Fig 1) extending perpendicularly from the front face and at least one connector plate 9. The elongate elements comprise means 4a, 4b for hanging a pair of dividing panels 20 and also means 7 to hold the connector plate 9. The dividing panels may be provided with complementary hooks or slots. The panels may be provided with a 'clean-room finish' such as a coating of PVC. The edges of the panels may be angled so that the gap 24 is minimised. The gap 24 may be sealed using a sealant or a weld. An independent claim is included for the dividing panel <I>per se</I>.</p> |
