PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for a reservoir tank of excellent assembly property, and excellent exchangeability and handling property of a seal member. SOLUTION: In the cap 2 for the reservoir tank which comprises at least a fitting part 31 corresponding to an opening part 11 of a tank body 1 and a gauge part 32 extended thereto, and a leaf spring 5 and a seal member 6 which are retrofitted around a corresponding shaft of the fitting part via fitting holes 5a and 6a, attachably/detachably locked to the opening part 11 with the strength corresponding to the urging of the leaf spring 5 by inserting and turning the fitting part 31 in the opening part 11, the fitting part 31 comprises a circumferential groove 31a which is provided on a lower side of the shaft and engaged with the seal member 6, a spring fitting part 31b which fits the leaf spring 5 on an upper side of the shaft from the circumferential groove 31a, and an arm part 35 which is extended outwardly in the downward direction from an upper side of the spring fitting part 31b and has an engagement claw 35a on a tip thereof. The engagement claw 35a is attached/detached to/from a locking part 12 protruded from an outer circumference of the opening part 11 to prevent careless coming-off of the leaf spring 5 with the cap detached from the body 1. |
