PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively discharge deposited sludge in a jet stirring type solid- liquid separation apparatus. SOLUTION: A jet stirring part 10 where perforated plates 11 each having many through holes are arranged with certain intervals and a treated water collecting part 20 provided with a settling apparatus 21 and a water collecting trough 22 are provided successively in a water tank 1, sludge collecting hoppers 15 and 23 are provided in a lower part between the perforated plates 11 and 11 of the jet stirring part 10 and in each lower part of the treated water collecting part 20, sludge discharge pipes 16 and 24 provided with the stop valves 16 and 24 are attached respectively to sludge collecting hoppers and deposited sludge is discharge in every sludge collecting hoppers properly as required.
