<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the repulsive property of the head section by increasing the area of the region of a high repulsion coefficient, for the head section of a golf club. SOLUTION: This golf club is equipped with the head section 1 made of a metal. When a frequency at the peak, which appears in a range from 200 Hz to 2,500 Hz, of a transmission function measured at an optional point on the face surface of the head section 1 is measured, the area S on the face surface indicating a frequency at an optional frequency f or lower satisfies S >=3.14×f-2983 (mm<2> ). In other situations, the frequency f and the area S satisfy the relationship: S >=3.20×f-2880 (mm<2> ) or S >=6.30×f-5355 (mm<2> ).</p> |
