PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent not extending in its length direction even if contracted in its diameter in order to be inserted into a catheter though fundamentally having a cylindrical cage-shaped braid structure, smoothly led out of the catheter and expanded in its diameter itself without generating shortening when led out of the catheter to generate no deviation when indwelled in a target region. SOLUTION: The cylindrical cage-shaped stent having elasticity is formed by fundamentally braiding a filament into a cylindrical cage shape. In a typical case, the cylindrical cage has a double-headed structure of 'first head part (1)-body part (3)-second head part (2)' consisting of a body part (3) wherein the filament is arranged in the almost length direction of the cylindrical cage and first and second head parts (1) and (2) formed to one end and other end of the body part (3) and having the cylindrical cage-shaped braid structure wherein filaments cross each other in a biased state. The first and second head parts (1) and (2) have a structure positioned reversely so as to be folded back to the inside or outside of the body part (3) from the end parts of the body part (3).
