摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy in planting depth control for each seedling. SOLUTION: This controller for seedling planting depth is obtained by freely liftably and lowerably installing a seedling planting part in a traveling car body, controlling the lifting and lowering of the seedling planting part by the depth and shallowness of a top soil surface detected with a center float vertically moving relatively to the seedling planting part, providing a camera for detecting the seedling capable of picking up an image of the planted seedling with a seedling planting device of the seedling planting part and judging the planting depth of the seedling with the resultant image pickup data from the camera for detecting the seedling. Thereby, the center float is vertically regulated relatively to the seedling planting device and the seedling is controlled to the suitable reference planting depth. Since the reference planting depth is regulated by vertically regulating the center float based on the actual seedling planting depth according to information from the resultant image of the planted seedling even if the extent of the sunk center float differs on the basis of the relationship among the hardness of a field, a change, etc., in weight of the seedling planting part, the planting depth can accurately be regulated.
