PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printing method which improves the ozone stability of an image. SOLUTION: In the ink-jet printing method, (a) an ink-jet recording element comprising a support having a porous image receiving layer having continuous voids on it is prepared, and (b) the droplets of a liquid ink containing water, a moisture keeping agent, a metallized phthalocyanine pigment are applied image-wise on the image receiving layer. The pigment is expressed by formula of MPc(SO3 X)a (SO2 NRR')b (M is metal; Pc is a phthalocyanine nucleus; X is hydrogen, an alkali metal, or an organic cation; a is 0-2; R is hydrogen, a 1-15C substituted or non-substituted alkyl group, a substituted or non-substituted aryl group, or a substituted or non-substituted heterocyclic group; R' is an amino acid group or at least one substituted or non-substituted alkyl group, aryl group, or heterocyclic group having a primary, secondary, tertiary, or quaternary amino group which can be a part of a ring; b is 1-4, but a+b is 3-4 on average). |
