<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device capable of forming a clearance for conveying papers satisfactorily without bringing them into contact with a paper feeding roller 51 between the paper feeding roller 51 and a friction member upon completion of conveyance of papers and conveying papers one by one securely without causing feeding of overlapped papers and continuous feeding of overlapped papers and preventing the occurrence of chattering sound. SOLUTION: A different diameter shaft part 57 is provided on a roller shaft 52 of the paper feeding roller 51, a collar 53 is loosely in the different diameter shaft part 57 and the collar 53 is brought into contact with a paper feeding pad 9 at a predetermined rotation phase to form a clearance between the paper feeding pad 9 and the paper feeding roller 51. Right and left collars 53, 53 are pressed against and brought into contact with end faces of bearing bodies 66, 67 by compression coil springs 76, 76 loosely fitted in the roller shaft 52.</p> |
