PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive resistance welding equipment that enables the extent of consumption of electrodes and the penetration in a workpiece to be measured with high precision using an existing electrode displacement detecting means. SOLUTION: The resistance welding equipment 10 is composed of electrodes 2 for supplying a welding current to a workpiece 1, electrode holders 3 for carrying the electrodes 2, a driving mechanism 4 for driving the electrode holders 3, a mechanism 5 for elastically pressing the electrodes 2 to the workpiece 1 at the time of resistance welding, and an electrode displacement detecting means 6 for detecting penetration in the workpiece 1. The equipment is also provided with a storage device 30d for storing an electrode pressurizing position at the start of welding at the time of initial setting of the electrodes, and an arithmetic unit 30c for computing the extent of consumption of the electrodes 2 on the basis of the detected value by the storage device 30d and by the electrode displacement detecting means 6.
