PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil spreader for cooking capable of holding the appropriate amount of edible oil at an oil application part, reducing the fouling of an oil tray and the surroundings, etc., with oil due to the dripping of the oil, improving economicity by holding the oil sanitarily for a long period of time, applying the appropriate amount of the oil to an iron plate or the like to perform specific cooking, providing the convenience of easily applying the oil without directly sticking the drip of the oil or the like to a hand and enabling the easy exchange of the application part even when it gets dirty. SOLUTION: An oil spreader 10 for cooking is provided with an oil housing part 11 housing the edible oil, a holding part 12 freely attachably and detachably or integrally formed on the end part side of the oil housing part 11 and an oil application part 13 formed roughly in a bar shape, whose front part side is projected from the opening of the holding part 12 and rear part side is fixed into the oil housing part 11.
