PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the inexpensive stopper of movable furniture capable of controlling movement by bringing a grounding part into press contact with a floor surface at a front part when leaving the movable furniture standing and using it, being constituted entirely of synthetic resin molded items without using a complicated linking mechanism and being easily assembled to the furniture. SOLUTION: A pair of left and right supporting members 4 are fitted to the lower surface front edge of the movable furniture made movable by providing a plurality of casters on its lower end, an operation member 5 is mounted horizontally movably to both supporting members, and a grounding member 6 is disposed between both supporting members and externally fitted to the operation member so that the grounding member 6 can be displaced vertically. A plurality of pairs of pins 7 projectingly provided with an interval horizontally on the middle part front and rear surfaces of the operation member are slidably fitted to a plurality of pairs of inclined guide holes 9 formed on the front and back vertical plates 8 of the grounding member and the grounding member is linked so as to be vertically moved with the horizontal movement of the operation member. Further, the grounding part 10 is provided on both left and right ends of the grounding member, the grounding part is brought into press contact with the floor surface F and the movement of the furniture is controlled. |
