PLUG FOR LIQUID CONTAINER MADE OF PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for a liquid container made of paper which can completely seal the container when a spout is re-sealed with a cap even in a liquid container made of paper with a large capacity so that there is no fear of liquid dripping from the plug. SOLUTION: The plug comprises a spout 200 and a cap 100 to be screwed with the spout. The spout comprises a pour-out cylinder 220 standing on an inner periphery of an upper surface of a base ring 210. The cap has an inner seal ring 112 hanging from a lower surface of a top plate 110. A contact seal ring 111 having a vertical cross section of an approximately inverted right- angled triangle with a vertical surface outside and with an acute vertex angle is made to hang in tight contact with the outside of the inner seal ring. When the cap is screwed with and mounted on the cap, a tip of the contact seal ring of the cap comes into tight contact with an upper surface of the pour-out cylinder of the spout.
