PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical treatment information recording medium housing case which is extremely easy to handle when various kinds of medical data or the like including an X-ray film is carried or stored while being housed, and in addition, by which the X-ray film and other medical treatment data inside are hardly damaged, and also, which can be recycled as well. SOLUTION: This medical treatment information recording medium housing case is constituted of tray-shape first and second case-forming sections 11 and 12 having a size to partition-form a housing space section when being stacked with each other. One end side of the second case forming section 12 is formed into a lid section 12b, and the other end side is formed into a main body section 12c. Then, the main body section 12c is firmly fasten-connected with a first fastening means 16 by a first connecting piece 14 so that the main body section 12c may not be separated from the first case forming section 11. In the meantime, the lid section 12b is made turnable to the main body section 12c by a hinge section 13. At the same time, the lid section 12b is detachably fixed to a second fastening means 17 by a second connecting piece 15 so that the lid section 12b may not be opened when being closed to the first case forming section 11.
