PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container using a holding device capable of containing roll-shaped objects of different sizes in one kind of size of box. SOLUTION: Grooves 23 serving as fixing plate supporting parts are provided in the inner surfaces of the left upper and lower sidewalls of a container body 18 and a plurality of grooves 23A, 23B, and 23C of the same size as the grooves 23 are provided at the right side of the container body 18 with the grooves 23 serving as a size reference. Two fixing plates 10 each having a U-shaped fixing groove 8 are fitted into the grooves 23 and 23A provided at an interval X1 to each other, and two roll-shaped objects 1 each having a length corresponding to the interval X1 are mounted in the U-shaped fixing grooves 8 in the fixing plates 10 via hat-shaped holders 4. To store roll-shaped objects 1 corresponding to different lengths of intervals X2 and X3 of the roll-shaped objects 1, the right fixing plate 10 should be moved to the grooves 23B and 23C and fitted therein.
