PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier film showing high resistance to hot water adhesion between a thin film layer and a film, flexibility and barrier properties as a gas barrier film obtained by forming a thin film layer made of silicon oxide, metallic aluminum or the like, formed on the film. SOLUTION: This gas barrier film is characterized in that a resin layer (B) formed of a resin composition containing a polyorganosiloxane resin and a melamine resin and an inorganic thin film layer (C) such as the silicon oxide or metallic aluminum, are laminated, in that order, on at least one side of a plastic film (A). In addition, the thickness of the inorganic thin film layer (C) is 10 to 150 nm.
