PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tennis ball 1 which is excellent in the appearance under an unused stage or even after being used, and also, is equipped with a seamed section being excellent in durability. SOLUTION: This tennis ball 1 is equipped with a core 2, two felt sections 3, and the seamed section 4. For the seamed section 4, a mucilage containing a rubber composition is adhered to the felt section 3 before being pasted to the core 2, and the seamed section 4 is formed when the rubber composition is vulcanized. The rubber composition contains a base material rubber of 100 parts, a thiazole based vulcanization promoter of from 1.0 to 3.0 parts, and a dithiocarbamic acid salt based vulcanization promoter of from 0.1 to 1.5 parts. The viscosity of the mucilage is preferably from 140 to 200 dPa.s. The hardness of the seamed section 4 is preferably from 40 to 60.
