PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide eggs which can suppress the increase of the cholesterol value caused by the egg yolk and can simultaneously promote the lipid metabolism, although the yolk of a chicken egg has been said to have high cholesterol value, thus it is undesirable for human health. SOLUTION: The egg includes high concentrations of iodine and vitamin E and is allowed to include inositol in an amount of 60-80 mg in 100 grams of the yolk. |
