PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording body excellent in sealing properties by water blocking resistance and oily ink of a protective layer surface, water resistance of a sealing part, and conveyance properties in an OCR reading machine. SOLUTION: In the thermal recording body, a thermally coloring layer containing a leuco dye and a coloration agent, a protective layer containing an aqueous adhesive, pigment, and a curing agent, and the uppermost layer obtained by exposing an ultraviolet or electron beam curable compound to ultraviolet rays or electron beams and curing the compound are formed in turn on a support. Amorphous silica, diacetone-modified polyvinyl alcohol, and a curing agent such as diadipic acid dihydrazide are incorporated into the protective layer, and 0.5-2 pts.wt. of the modified polyvinyl alcohol is used per 1 pt.wt. of amorphous silica. |
