PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a thermal recording material excellent in light resistance and high in coloring density. SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material in which a thermally coloring layer containing a usually colorless or slightly colored coloring compound and a developing compound for making the coloring compound develop color during heating as main components is formed on a support, at least one compound selected from a 3'-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-4'-hydroxy-4-biphenyl sufonic acid salt, 2,2'-methylene-bis(4-methyl-6-t-butylphenol), 2,2'-methylene-bis(4-ethyl-6-t- butylphenol, and 2,2'-methylene-bis[6-(1-methylcyclohexyl)-p-cresol] is incorporated. |
