PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably protect an occupant by rapidly developing and inflating an airbag by a gas when the gas is generated in an inflator by the collision of a car. SOLUTION: An airbag device 23 has an airbag 26 which introduces the gas 24 generated in the inflator 25, and develops and inflates along a surface on a cabin 9 side of a side wall 6 of a vehicle body 2. This airbag 26 comprises face and back sheets 31 and 32 which face to each other in the width direction of the vehicle body 2 and are couple with each other, a first inflation chamber 34 formed between the face and back sheets 31 and 32 and inflated by introduction of the gas 24, and a first introduction passage 36 formed between the face and back sheets 31 and 32, and introducing the gas 24 generated in the inflator 25 into the first inflation chamber 34. A tack 42 extended along the longitudinal direction of the first introduction passage 36 is formed on at least one of the face and back sheets 31 and 32 forming the first introduction passage 36. |
