PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder in which an ink cartridge not fixed correctly can be corrected automatically to a correct fixing position through a simple arrangement and troubles, e.g. incomplete ink supply or leakage of ink, due to incorrect fixing of ink cartridge can be eliminated.
