PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding water tank unit capable of efficiently collecting machining chips and promoting collection of machining chips, and a spectacle lens machining apparatus having it. SOLUTION: In this grinding water tank unit, grinding water used in machining the peripheral edge of a spectacle lens is stored in a tank, and the grinding water in the tank is circulated for reuse. The grinding water tank unit is provided with a water guide passage for taking out the machining chips discharged to the interior of the tank with the grinding water, a filter for filtering the grinding water to be separated from the machining chips, which has a chamber for storing the machining chips and is connected to a discharge port of the water guide passage in the substantially sealed state, and a booster pump disposed in the midway of the water guide path to suck the machining chips with the grinding water and feeding the same into the filter under water pressure.
