PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag in which contents can be automatically filled from a side of the bag formed with a gusset fold. SOLUTION: The packaging bag comprising a plastic film has a gusset fold on at least one of sides and a heat-bonded portion formed along its periphery. One of end rims of a gusset folding piece forming the gusset fold is heat-bonded with the opposite plastic film over a predetermined width, and in addition both end rims of the gusset folding piece are heat-bonded with each other over a predetermined width. Thus an opening is formed between the other end rim of the gusset folding piece and the plastic film, providing the packaging bag in which contents can be automatically filled from the opening.
