PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put an open/close device to a mouth rim of a bag as simply, quickly and reliably as possible, and to simply attach the device to a packaging bag with a fastener separately purchased. SOLUTION: The open/close device is mounted on a packaging bag with a fastener of such a type comprising a combination of a protrusion and a fitting groove which can be engaged with/disengaged from each other on a mouth rim for use. A short and small channel-like material which can be slid right and left across the mouth rim of the bag is equipped, in its groove-formed cavity, with a pair of pressing protrusions for pinching the fastener and a splitting member to be interposed between the protrusion and the fitting groove for opening the fastener in a longitudinal array. In addition, to easily mount the open/close device on the mouth rim, a pair of latch members including latch claws to latch each other for gradually expanding a distance between both opposite sidewalls of a body and pressurizing both sidewalls to keep them in parallel after mounting are provided to protrude oppositely on a base end of both sidewalls.
