PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flux cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding for low alloy heat resistant steel with which weld metal causing little ferrite bands even when subjected to PWHT(post weld heat treatment) for a long time, and having excellent mechanical properties can be obtained. SOLUTION: A slag forming agent is contained in flux filled into an outer sheath made of steel. The slag forming agent contains one or more kinds selected from the groups consisting of Na compounds, K compounds and Li compounds, TiO2 and metallic fluorides. Either or both of the outer sheath made of steel and the flux contain C, Si, Mn, Ni, Cr, Mo and Mg, and further contain V and/or Nb. The flux can contain at least one or more kinds selected from the groups consisting of Ti and V as well.
