PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous method for efficiently manufacturing a conductive roller having uniform roller characteristics by an in-mold foaming method while reducing loss. SOLUTION: A preformed product, which is obtained by providing a coating layer comprising a rubber composition prepared by compounding a conductivity imparting agent, a vulcanizing agent and a foaming agent, is arranged in a mold and heated to be vulcanized and foamed to manufacture the conductive roller. In this manufacturing method, annular heat insulating spacers are inserted in both end parts of the coating layer of the preformed product and this preformed product is arranged in the mold to be heated. |
