<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head in which ink can be ejected quickly from the nozzle of a print head by refilling the ink ejection chamber with ink as quick as possible. SOLUTION: Drop generators 63A and 63B comprise nozzles 62A and 62B and ejection chambers 64A and 64B arranged alternately. An ink supply path 65 includes a branch path 65A leading to the ejection chamber 64A and a branch path 65B leading to the ejection chamber 64B. The branch paths 65A and 65B are supplied with ink, respectively, from a pair of ink supply holes 66A and a pair of ink supply holes 66B. The ink supply holes 66A and 66B are shaped such that the channel resistance is equalized. These components constitute a subgroup of one drop generator. Each array 60, 70 includes a plurality of subgroups arranged along the central axis 98 and the arrays 60 and 70 are laid out alternately.</p> |
