PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a disturbing material, capable of accurately detecting the disturbing material even though the disturbing material is present in a trace amount. SOLUTION: The transgenic cells are prepared by introducing androgenic hormone-expression vector and extraneous gene to culture cells. The extraneous gene is obtained by combining the promoter of a target gene of androgenic hormone. This method for detecting the disturbing material is to detect the disturbing material in a sample to be detected by bringing the transgenic cells to contact with the sample to be detected and detecting the presence or the absence of the expression of the extraneous gene.
