FIELD: power supply systems. SUBSTANCE: adjustable device designed for stepless control of reactive power consumed by user from 0.4-kV mains without current (voltage) distortions needs two single-phase batteries, symmetrically shares battery currents among phases, requires minimal quantity of switching devices and thyristor switches, and eliminates switching surges.
