METHOD FOR REPAIRING ARTICLES OF ALLOYED STEEL BY WELDING

FIELD: welding processes for repairing articles such as constructional members of steam turbine. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of applying layer of first welded-on repairing strap lap and forming zone of thermic influence in article under its surface; performing local heat treatment of layer of first welded-on repairing strap lap and at least of part of thermic influence zone adjoined to layer of first strap lap; at temperature of article higher than its critical temperature A1, applying at least one additional welded-on layer onto layer of first strap lap without forming additional thermic influence zone in base material of article. It is possible to make layer of first strap lap and additional welded-on layer from low-alloy CrMo-steel. Heat treatment is realized almost for 15 minutes. After heat treatment hardness of first welded-on strap lap and of thermic influence zone is no more than 365 units according to Knoop.
