<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reception sensitivity of a holographic radar. SOLUTION: A high-frequency signal from an oscillator 10 is transmitted from transmitting antennas T1, T2, and T3 via a distributor 12 and a switch 14. Reflected waves reflected at a target object are received at receiving antennas R1 and R2 and are supplied for a mixer 18 via a switch 16. A high-frequency signal transmitted from the distributor 12 is supplied for the mixer 18, and a signal component is extracted at the mixer 18, converted into a digital signal at an A/D converter 20, and processed at a signal processing circuit 22. By switching among the transmitting antennas T1-T3 and the receiving antennas R1 and R2, it is possible to obtain a signal equivalent with that of a radar provided with one transmitting antenna and six receiving antennas.</p> |
