FIELD: manufacture of filters for trapping of solid particles containing ferromagnetic impurities; applicable in purification of liquids in closed pipelines. SUBSTANCE: magnetic filter presents pipe length with flanges for its fastening to pipeline through which liquid to be purified is supplied. Connected to pipe length lower part is cylindrical casing whose cavity volume exceeds that of pipe length at least by a factor of 2. Installed inside casing with overlapping the pipe cross-section is filtering device in the form of screen cylinder. In this case, axes of casing and screen cylinder are located perpendicular to pipe axis. Screen cylinder accommodates magnetic system in the form of flat or streamlined member. EFFECT: reduced filter hydrodynamic resistance to flow of filtered liquid, higher degree of liquid purification. 3 cl, 2 dwg |
