<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input indicator as the one for a coordinate input device of aerial ultrasonic wave system, constituted so as to enable detection of coordinates of a plurality of places, with simple structure, which can be minimized and the weight of which is reduced and the coordinate input device capable of detecting coordinates of the plurality of places of the indicator by using the indicator. SOLUTION: Ultrasonic waves generated from both sides of one ultrasonic wave generating means 3 arranged in a hollow casing 2 of the indicator 1 are propagated in the casing 2 and transmitted from ultrasonic wave transmission ports K1, K2 formed on both ends of the casing 2 to the air outside the casing 2. Each of the ultrasonic waves is detected by sensors 7a to 7d, transmission time of each of the ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic wave generating means 3 to the sensors 7a to 7d is counted and coordinates of the positions of the transmission ports K1, K2 are further calculated based on the time in an arithmetic control circuit 5.</p> |
