PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head suspension assembly capable of highly accurate position and stick a slider chip to a flexure, highly stabilizing the floating posture of the slider chip and carrying out high-density recording on a disk, a disk device and a method for manufacturing the head suspension assembly. SOLUTION: The head suspension assembly of a hard disk drive is provided with a slider chip 5 having a magnetic head 6. The slider chip 5 is stuck to a flexure fixed to a suspension. In this case, solder is set between a copper land 7 formed in each of the end surfaces 5c, 5d and 5e of the slider chip 5 and a corresponding copper land 8 formed in the flexure and simultaneously melted, and the slider chip 5 is self-aligned by its surface tension.
