PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that enables a content provider to make any type of terminal possible to use a plurality of types of the contents without any burden to the provider. SOLUTION: A content conversion server 3 receives a access data (URL of a content providing server 5a) and data for a mobile telephone or browser type data from a mobile telephone 9a. The content conversion server 3, then, obtains contents indicated by the access data from the content providing sever 5a when the access data is supposed to show the contents located in the other sever 5a for providing the contents rather than the server 3. The sever 3 also converts the contents obtained in a non-uniform format based upon information of the mobile telephone type or of its browser type. Furthermore, the server 3, if information for a link is contained in the contents, converts the link information according to a pre-defined rule, generates the converted contents, and sends the contents to the mobile telephone 9a.
