PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone, especially of a GSM type. SOLUTION: The GSM type mobile telephone set has a controller consisting especially of a keypad (24) realizing the individual operation of keys and provided with keys (22) able to move vertically as a whole in an independent method between an idle position and an operation position in the controller for controlling the combination of alpha-numerals especially being a telephone number and moving of a cursor (36) or for scrolling a menu on a display picture (32). At least one of the dialing keys (22) is a multi-functional key (40, 42, 44 and 46) where key operation realizes dialing of key operation by a first mode and key operation realizes controlling of the movement of the cursor (36) by a second mode.
