<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing the voting rights with which the voting rights can be easily carried out in a general meeting of stockholders. SOLUTION: Before the date of the general meeting of stockholders for a prescribed period, a managing computer 21 extracts stockholders having the voting rights. Then, a voting rights exercise number is generated for each stockholder and transmitted to the electronic mail address of each of stockholders together with a notice of a general meeting of stockholders. The stockholder accesses a stock substitution system 20 through the Internet I by using a password, a stockholder ID and the voting rights exercise number. In order to exercise the voting rights, approval/disapproval is selected for each bill by using a voting rights exercise web page. Such data on approval/ disapproval are transmitted to the stock substitution system 20. The managing computer 21 accumulates the data on the approval/disapproval for each bill and calculates the voted result.</p> |
