PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for measuring a signal level and a noise level to be received by a regenerative repeating device in the case of using a satellite-mounted repeating device which includes the regenerative repeating device. SOLUTION: In a satellite communication system, employing the satellite- mounted relaying device including the regenerative repeating device, the satellite- mounted relaying device is provided with a reception antenna, a low-noise amplifier, a reception frequency converter, a transmission frequency converter, a high output amplifier and a transmitting antenna. A changeover switch, is placed between the reception frequency converter and the transmission frequency converter, so as to transmit an output from the reception frequency converter to a hybrid via the regenerative relaying device or directly to the hybrid, and the output from the hybrid, is transmitted to the transmission frequency converter. |
