PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency power amplifier circuit that can obtain desired characteristics without the need for adjusting the resistance of resistors being components of a bias circuit. SOLUTION: The high frequency power amplifier circuit is provided with: current generating circuits (20A to 20C) that generate currents (I11, I12, I13) changing with desired characteristics depending on control voltage (Vapc) and independent of dispersion in the threshold value of transistors(TRs); and TRs (Q11, Q12 and Q13) configuring current mirror circuits in parallel with output TRs (Q1, Q12 and Q13) of each stage. The currents (I11, I12 and I13) from the current generating circuits (20A to 20C) are supplied to the TRs (Q11, Q12 and Q13) to drive them by the currents in place of driving them by voltage.
