PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stem base of high insulating performance by preventing the surface leakage of the stem base between two focus pins in the stem base used for a voltage applied part at the tip of a neck part of a double focus cathode-ray tube. SOLUTION: The height of projections around two focus pin insert holes is made high, and a groove part is provided on the surface side between the focus pin insert holes. Ribs are provided on the back side of a position corresponding to the groove part. A creeping distance between two focus pins is thereby secured to enhance insulating performance.
