PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron gun suitable for attaining high precision, a cathode-ray tube provided with the electron gun, and a display device provided with the cathode-ray tube. SOLUTION: This electron gun is constituted to supply a third electrode G3 with required potential independent of focus potential. The cathode-ray tube is provided with the electron gun, and the display device is provided with the cathode-ray tube having the electron gun.
