PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional vending machine can not be easily moved as necessary because the conventional vending machine needs a wide installation area, is heavy and has to connect a water supply and drainage tube. SOLUTION: A vending machine is provided with an image controller 7 for reading images for advertisement/announcement and the image of merchandise to be sold from an IC memory card 8 inserted into an IC memory card slot 9, and an image display device 2 for displaying the images for advertisement/announcement and the image of merchandise to be sold read by the image controller. The width and depth of the vending machine are respectively suppressed to be about 400 mm and its installation area is suppressed to be about 0.2 m<2> . Then, the vending machine can be made to be small and light, utilize a small dead space and be installed for a conference, a presentation party or the like as necessary anywhere only if there is a public power supply.
