PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to appropriately control a command delivered to a semiconductor storage device and to improve data transfer efficiency. SOLUTION: An address set in an area setting register and an address indicated in the address information of an access request signal are compared, if the address set in the area setting register matches with the address indicated in the address information, a command with an auto precharge command is outputted to a FCRAM(fast cycle random access memory), and, if not so, an ordinary command is outputted to the FCRAM, so that the command with the auto precharge command is outputted when getting access to an area where addresses to be accessed are likely to be discontinuous, thus making the FCRAM automatically execute a precharge operation, and an ordinary command is outputted when getting access to an area where addresses to be accessed are likely to be continuous, thus permitting the continuous execution of a read operation or a write operation.
