CONTENTS PROVIDING METHOD, CONTENTS RECEIVING TERMINAL AND SECURITY MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reception of information with an optional terminal on the basis of a television reception contract after data accumulation so that the terminal can deal with renewal of a terminal or possession of plural terminals, and to enable reproduction with an optional terminal with which television reception after data accumulation is not assumed without using a special terminal with which television reception after data accumulation is assumed. SOLUTION: In this method, distribution of contract information to an IC card enables a user carrying the IC card to obtain the contract information with another person's terminal or a KIOSK terminal. This also enables output of the contents to external media after decoding the contents. In this way, the contents can be reproduced without limiting a terminal to be used to the terminal with which television reception after data accumulation is assumed.
