PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic transmitter capable of solving a problem that an ultrasonic level to reach the side of the ultrasonic transmitter is lowered by a problem of directivity of the side of the ultrasonic transmitter in the case of inclination of an ultrasonic wave transmitting element and a signal processing after that becomes difficult and a problem that a detection error of a coordinate position and a malfunction such as deviation are easily caused in an input device to receive a positional signal from a transmitter by a receiver and to determine the coordinate position of the transmitter. SOLUTION: An output level of ultrasonic waves is stabilized by providing mechanism to compensate polyhedral structure of an ultrasonic wave vibration surface of the ultrasonic wave transmitting element 11 supported by a supporting member 12 and the inclination of the ultrasonic wave transmitting element in the ultrasonic wave transmitter for stabilization of the output level of the ultrasonic waves in the case of the inclination of the ultrasonic wave transmitter.
