<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the probability that memory control by data transfer operation competes with memory control from outside. SOLUTION: A semiconductor memory device 190 has memory blocks 130, 131 of fast write operation, a memory block 150 of slow write operation and a memory control means (switching circuits 110, 120, 140, a WSM 160 and a control bus and a data bus between them) that permits data transfer operation between one of the memory blocks 130, 131 and the memory block 150, and performs the memory operations of read/write/erase operation or the like regarding the another of the memory blocks 130, 131 based on an access operation from outside. Thus, the memory control means permits access operation for the memory blocks 130, 131 of two divided small individual storage areas respectively and independently.</p> |
