PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit of a PDP(plasma display panel) display device capable of reducing the reactive power of circuits, without affecting the discharging condition of a PDP. SOLUTION: In the drive circuit of a PDP display device, which is provided at least with a pair of electrodes (Xj, Yj) and discharge cells connected to them, this drive circuit has a first path having first switches (S1, S11) and first coils (L1, L3) for applying voltages to the discharge cells and a second path having second switches (S2, S12) and second coils (L2, L4) for discharging the voltages applied to the discharge cells and electric charge storage elements (C1, C2), which are connected in common with the first path and the second path and inductance values of the second coils (L2, L4) are made to be larger than those of the first coils (L1, L3).
