PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for image generation which can reproduce the original features that a model image represents without forming a mass-like pattern consisting of identical pixel values in a generated image. SOLUTION: To determine pixels on a model image to be assigned to the respective pixels on the generated image when the generated image reproducing features represented on the model image is generated, it is judged whether the frequency IC(x ,y) of selection of pixels in the model image as pixels in the generated image is less than a specific frequency (S11) and when not, the pixels are not selected (S12). When the frequency is less than the specific frequency, an evaluated value is calculated (S13). Calculations as to all the pixels of the model image are made (S14, S15) and a specific number of pixels in the model image which are judged to have high frequencies from the evaluated value are selected; and those pixels are compared (S16) to check they are identical to the pixels in the model image which are already assigned to pixels nearby pixels in the generated image to be determined and when not, the pixels are determined as pixels to be assigned onto the generated image. |
