PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice message service method in a wireless communication system. SOLUTION: The wireless communication system comprises a serving mobile switching center 202, a service control point 205 and a voice messaging system 204. A subscriber accessed the voice messaging system 204 through a wireless device 201 to a retrieve voice message that is deposited into the subscriber's voice mail box. When listening to a voice message that is deposited by a call sender 207, the subscriber may wish to return a call to the call sender. In such a case, the subscriber initiates the call by invoking a call sender option. The call is established to the call sender's directory number through the serving mobile switching center and the service control point. After completing the call to the call sender, the subscriber may return to the mobile switching censor by inputting a calling code and resume the voice main session at a desired location corresponding to the subscriber's previous interactions with the voice messaging system.
