<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication network, capable of ensuring the transmission of a normal data signal on an optical path set by path calculation, which takes into consideration of the transmission quality of a data signal inside a transparent transmission cloud, without having openly to deal with complicate physical parameters. SOLUTION: This communication network is provided with regions 2-4, including a transparent transmission cloud 5 for verifying whether the normal transmission of a data signal to the set of all optical XC devices 31-36 inside a transparent transmission cloud 5 is possible in advance, and determining that a virtual link for connecting the optical XC devices 31-36 to each other is set, only between the set of the optical XC devices, to which the normal transmission of the data signal is possible, and for openly notifying the information related with the virtual link to the outside.</p> |
